With just one word, each one of us has the ability to impact the world around us, our family members, our friends, our neighbors, our communities, our society. A kind word or deed to someone can set their state of mind for an entire day and in turn cause that person to spread kindness with all those encountered in that day. The same is true of cutting words and deeds which can affect someone to their deepest level of self… possibly for a lifetime.

In turn, one may be rendered incapable of experiencing the vulnerability which is a necessary element of giving and receiving love. Thus, the cycles and patterns of families and cultures perpetuate… just as the ripples in the water.
