About Victoria Bonelli-Jenovese

Victoria Bonelli-JenoveseI have wanted to help others from a counseling perspective since I was 11 years old listening to Dr. Ruth on Sunday late night radio in New York! However, I thought I would explore other avenues and techniques of counseling with families and couples than Dr. Ruth focused on (God love her!)

I believe that people are born good. I believe we learn from our surroundings from the time we are little babes and then our learning is filtered end enhanced by our genetic competencies and deficiencies, thus creating each snowflake-like, unique individual that we become.

As a Psychotherapist, as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, my charge is to connect with individuals; find out their desires; instill hope; impart tools of the trade; and help that individual become a better person through a conscious, deliberate, and sometimes tumultuous change process.

I love working with families, particularly those with children and adolescents. I have spent the last ten years working with adolescents and their families. I must say, as tough as adolescents can be, they are equally as rewarding! I also enjoy working with couples who are struggling and need support to getting their relationship (back) on the right and healthy track. Finally, when I work with individual clients on an array of mental health issues, I particularly enjoy helping with issues of anxiety and stress, grief and loss (which could be a result of many different types of losses), and ultimately, I take pleasure in assisting individuals cope with and work through life transitions, which is something that we ALL have to deal with at some time or another in our lives.

I want to help those who want to help themselves, and who have a passion for MORE in their lives than just the status quo! Life is not about the circumstances in which we find ourselves... it is about our journey and who we become through it all. Children and Adolescents, Couple’s Intimacy, mental Health issues I am also a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor (MH6608)

I have been serving the Central Florida Association for Marriage and Family Therapy for the last 11 years, holding a variety of offices, chair positions, and volunteer positions. I am currently finishing out my two-year office as President of CFAMFT which has been an honor and a lot of fun! I am humbled to work with such caring, loving, intelligent and professional individuals who make an incredible difference in our community.
